Alli Spotts-De Lazzer, MA, LMFT, LPCC, CEDS-S, is a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and CEDS supervisor who has a private practice in Studio City, Los Angeles. She’s the author of MeaningFULL: 23 Life-Changing Stories of Conquering Dieting, Weight, and Body Image Issues. Spotts-De Lazzer has been published in peer-reviewed journals, trade magazines, and online hubs, and has presented educational workshops at international and local conferences, graduate schools, clinical training facilities, and hospitals.

Passionate about advocacy and service to the field, she has run a support group for friends and family of people with eating and body image issues for over a decade and co-chaired committees for the Academy for Eating Disorders and the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp). She also created #ShakeIt for Self-Acceptance!®–a series of public events sparking important conversations through fun, inspiring speeches and flash mob dance, which appeared throughout the United States. She was named the 2017 iaedp Member of the Year.
